    Mary sue? I have to disagree, if she was a sue she would never make mistakes and would be loved by everyone, even the villians. But coming off the baseball episode (and several before that) where she failed at EVERYTHING she did (sutdent councic responsibiltiies, sorry gotta pratice for the one game, that one game, sorry gotta duck out to save ai-chan, ai-chan sorry can’t beat the general have to be saved by my friends!)

    Actually, we learn in episode 16 that even the villains do indeed love her. 🙂

    But yes, I was using the term pretty loosely. She’s not *entirely* perfect. But she’s way more perfect than your average human, that’s for sure. If she were entirely perfect, there wouldn’t be much room for character development and we’d have no story, so I’m very happy that we’re still getting lots of good stories.

    I worry sometimes that my little brief snippets on the release announcements make fun of the show a little bit too much, because it really is a wonderful series. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying watching it.

    Don’t worry I make fun of it two, particullary how in the first episode Cure Sword looked like a freaking deformed barbie doll, most of the cures do…but when i get past that i then start making notes for my Magical Girl X-over fic

    I mean my oc series Magical Melody Kats has a similar set up to Precure with Discords (even though it was writen before Doki premered), has a singer like Mokoto, but also involves dimension hopping and honestly the idea of Mana meeting the Kamen Rider Decade of magical girls just amuses me to no end

    I don’t think she’s a mary sue either. However, the fact that she is a really sweet person, and not a jerk anti-hero like seto kaiba, is a lot more important to me than how original she is.

    At least Kiba never did Card Games on Roller Costers! Though standing on a lege knowing the force the next attack wil lsend you flying to your doom is a prety dick move.
