Eh, my computer’s being weird and won’t do the XviD for some reason, so HD only for now…
And Kaoru-chan…
…seriously, what?

With regards to the mentioned “localization” that did/didn’t occur in episode 24.
I found it unpleasant compared to previous episodes translated by CureCom. Reading half a sentence (on the bottom of the screen) in English while the other half was left in Japanese half the time with the English and Japanese translation being shown on the top meant comprehending half the subject, having to look up get more information, reinsert that information back into the lower sentence all in order to understand what was going on, only to have missed what was happening in the animation, and for the story to have moved on to another scene not giving enough time to enjoy what had occurred.
I enjoyed CureCom’s previous translations of Fresh Pretty Cure, and would like to seen CureCom go back to translating as was done in previous episodes.
If you want to feed the few fringe viewers that want original terms and translated terms defined. Perhaps you could list them at the top like you did in episode 24, for those few people, but completely translate the line on the bottom so that readers can quickly comprehend the whole line and view the animation before they miss out on the whole scene. Its one thing to leave character names or special moves (like Bleach kido chants) untranslated, but leaving half a sentence untranslated (including words like toothbrush, desk, and red) don’t benefit the viewer.
I’d also like to see the opening and ending have the subtitles re-added.
CureCom please go back to translating Fresh Pretty Cure in the wonderful way you did from episodes 1-23, 33-36, and 40&41.

Wow, did you really not look at the date when something seemed horribly wrong? Because really.

I absolutely agree–I thought it was an April Fool’s joke, too.
Actually, the way it was done in Episodes 1-4–with the explanations of certain Japanese language terms spoken in the episode at the back of show after the episode ends–is probably the best way for the purists out there. 🙂

Not to mention about the actual file’s title. (It says XD instead of HD)

I’ve been watching the groups subs for a while and it’s been great so far. But then… ugh, if this isn’t just an April Fools sub and you guys’re going to keep it like this, I’d rather watch the raws

Though I certainly hope this means that the real episode 25 is around the corner 😉
