Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo! is Go!
… or something cheesy like that.
Since we had a translator, a timer, and an encoder volunteer, we’ve gone ahead and picked up Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo. It’s a different team than the one working on Fresh Pretty Cure, so FPC will continue (however slowly it’s going – we’ll get it done eventually).

Episode 2 is done, and already got posted, but it has issues and we’re waiting on a re-encode. This post will get updated with the link as soon as we have a fixed version available. Update: Fixed episode 2 is here. Subtitle script (.ass) for the original subtitle-less episode 2 here: torrent. If you downloaded the first one you can get this instead of getting the entire file again. Just drop it in the same directory with the first one and your player will probably find it.

Not that I want to criticize your work, but is there a interest in doing GoGo when Yes! 5 isn’t half-finished by anyone ?

I wouldn’t have thought so, personally, but if there’s people willing to do the work, I’m not going to tell them they can’t do it. 🙂
And in reality, there’s not a lot lost by starting at the beginning of GoGo without having seen YPC5, other than having to figure out who the characters are from scratch. Not much of the previous story line is actually relevant, it’s just the same characters a year later.

How about making the ASS file available to those who have already downloaded the raw Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo! episode 2 and do not want to re download the re encoded file.

The original script from the timer is linked from this LiveJournal post.
I don’t know if that was edited further before the final encode that accidentally left it out or not though.
kirios sent a message saying his Internet service is out and he can’t get online, but hopefully he’ll have the fixed episode 2 up on Monday because his Internet should be fixed by then. As soon as he gets it posted I’ll extract the subtitle track and post it separately as well, but if you’re desperate and can’t wait, the one linked above should do.

Omg!Thank you so much for picking up Yes!Pretty cure 5 gogo! I have been wanting to see it translated since a long time ago [ i finished yes!pretty cure 5 in raw] So,please don’t abandon this project and keep releasing [though there are many episodes].Good luck and thank you again.
